Growing Preferences
Calamint plant is easy to grow in most any somewhat loose and moist to somewhat dry soil of average fertility and full to mostly sun. It prefers a neutral to alkaline soil ranging between 7.0 to 8.0 on the pH scale, so add lime to acidic soils to sweeten them. Plants will tolerate some shade but foliage won’t be as dense. It will tolerate dry periods, but flowers best with a damp to moist soil. Avoid constantly soggy or wet soils.
